Workshop: Leisure and chronic conditions
Drs Susan Doble and Susan Hutchinson , creators of the Take Care series, will be offering a workshop for people living with chronic conditions, or their carers, on how to improve overall well being by taking charge of your leisure activities.
Why leisure? Why it’s important for me? You’ll have the opportunity to learn from others and share experiences. Set goals and become better equipped todeal with the stresses.This two session workshop will be offered in conjunction with the Take Action program for those living with chronic health conditions.
Workshops will be held at the Canada Games Centre, Clayton ParkTuesday, November 22 & 29, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Northwood’s first Research Symposium on Continuing Care
Join Northwood as they launch their first Research Symposium addressing the growing importance of research in the field of Continuing Care. 
This symposium will touch on topics of interest within Continuing Care, from home care to nursing homes, that appeal to administrators and managers, health care providers, researchers and students. It will also cover innovative ways of how we transfer knowledge gained from research initiatives into our daily lives.
