“A vintage Canso warplane will fly over Baddeck on Wednesday on the final leg of a cross-Canada relay celebrating the country’s first powered flight, 100 years ago in Cape Breton.The Back to Baddeck relay began at 14 Wing Greenwood ear-lier this year and touched down in British Columbia in June before heading back, stopping in most provinces along the way.The Canso will make its final landing Saturday at the Nova Scotia International Air Show in Yarmouth, according to the Silver Dart Centennial Association, which is spearheading a year-long tribute to the first flight.”
