The fall Seniors Consultation, hosted by the Nova Scotia Department of Seniors, took place on Tuesday, October 06. GANS attended not only to take part to hear the many updates and talks, but also to officially launch this site CAKEns.com.

Seniors groups from across the province were in attendance, as well as those from many long term/continuing care groups. Representatives from various legion branches were conspicuous in their uniforms and many new friendships and collaborations were made.

It was great to see how many people came for the lunch hosted by the Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation, and emcee Nancy Regan kept the guests smiling.

It was an informative day and we at GANS look forward to connecting with many of the people we met.
